Purpose
A Note from Calvin Church’s Pastor
Greetings and welcome to Calvin Church!
We seek to be a Christ-centered congregation – “where Jesus” who incarnated the face and character of God is “worshipped” in spirit and truth (John 4:23).
We seek to be a discipleship – oriented congregation, leading people to be instructed and deepened in their faith and life so that we can be a church “where Jesus is lived”, where he is truly incarnated in every one associated with our fellowship.
And we seek to be a congregation “where Jesus is shared with others.” It’s not for ourselves only that we gather and are equipped; we come to be sent out to share the story and express the care and concern that Jesus Christ exhibited for others.
We’re not perfect by any means, but we are striving toward these goals and this vision.
We hope and pray you may find a place to discover and exercise your own unique gifts among us!
