Orientation Course
WEDNESDAY – FEBRUARY 17, 24, MARCH 3, 10
7:30-9 pm Orientation Course in the upper meeting room. Pastor Hans will be offering the Orientation Course for four weeks on orientation to the Christian faith, the Presbyterian and Reformed expression of it, and Calvin Church’s mission and values and opportunities for service. Scripture Union
Scripture Union provides today’s best Bible reading guides for children, teens and adults. Each guide contains enough material for three months. A new guide will be mailed to you every 90 days, or you can order a single copy. Please have a look at the new samples and order forms on the front entrance table or contact Susan Swanney
The flower team
The flower team is asking for folks to let them know if they would like to place flowers on the Communion table for any occasion. Please contact Patti Hougen , Marilyn Ingram or Carole Sookdeo . If you so wish, you may give $25 to any member of this team and they will purchase and arrange the flowers on your behalf.
Downtown Street Ministry
The Downtown Street Ministry is seeking a team of four people to partner with us - who will commit to once per month to set up, serve and clean up the meal. There is no food preparation involved. The time commitment is for 3 hours once per month. Please speak with Carole Sookdeo . Thanks!
Downtown Street Hope Ministry
We are a team from Calvin Presbyterian Church under the umbrella of the Mission Outreach Team, and we meet and serve the homeless on a Wednesday evening from 8 – 10 p.m.
